Behind the Wedding...

In April 2007, our lives came together.  Our first date wasn't so great, we saw a horrible movie but everything else was pleasant. We had our second date the next night and it was a lot better.  Our third date was the next night and it was perfect.  There has not been much time since those first three whirlwind dates that we have not been together.  Our relationship grows stronger with every passing day and we find more love for each other that we didn't realize was possible.  In 2008, I started dropping hints about getting engaged and Justin rolled his eyes and said he was never going to get married.  He took me ring shopping hoping to appease me and not have to hear about rings anymore, it didn't work!  He took me a second time in July, again he was hoping I would get over the idea of getting engaged.  There was one little problem though, we found the perfect ring.  Justin couldn't even say no.  Justin proposed on July 16, our 15 month anniversary, at the Kemah Boardwalk.  He took me to a little lighthouse right on the water, nobody else was around.  He knelt down, pulled out my ring, and asked me to marry him.  I said yes, obviously!  I immediately jumped into wedding planning.  Our colors were picked before I even saw the ring.  A summer chic brown, green, and pink wedding was in store.  We set the date for June 12, 2010 and by the end of August we had our venue booked.  The time is flying by though and before we know it I will be walking down the aisle to my future husband to start a new chapter in our lives.
